Boarding
Our kennel is located at our home, 26 miles east of Missoula MT off the Rock Creek exit. The property consists of 47 beautiful open acres and features large fields and a 3 acre pond. We are situated on a dead-end dirt road with very low traffic and are surrounded by mountains and hiking trails. At Dogwerks Training Kennel, the dogs enjoy the comforts of a newly constructed indoor-outdoor heated/cooled kennel building. Each run has a cozy visually isolated indoor area equipped with bedding, water and food. A dog door allows access to an outdoor chain link run with a concrete floor and secure roof. The kennel building is enclosed on three sides by a large fenced play yard. Dogs play in appropriate supervised groups 4 times daily. Dogs are fed twice daily and individual schedules, medication needs etc. are gladly accommodated.
Basic rates for Boarding:
- 1 dog $15/day, 2 dogs $25/day
- Boarding with training $250/week or $35/day
- 6 week classes $90
- Private lessons $50.
Additional services available while boarding:
At-Home pick-up: We will come to your home at a scheduled time to pick up your dog and transport to the kennel or to bring back home after boarding. $10 in Missoula.
Training: Additional $20/day individual training session for 25-40 minutes-tailored to owners needs.
Hiking: $5-$10 (depending on length of run) per dog. 30-75 minute mountain or flat road hikes.
Bathing: $10-$25 depending on dog size and coat length. Free with two-week or longer boarding session.
